About the Course
Welcome to the lab - where imagination evolves into creatures.
In Creature Design Lab, students become inventors, explorers and visual storytellers as they create their own original creatures from scratch.
Throughout the course, kids will experiment with:
Combining different animals and shapes
Designing fantasy beasts, monsters, dragons and alien species
Exploring textures, colors and unusual forms
Creating creature personalities, abilities and habitats
Turning random shapes and paint splashes into imaginative designs
The course encourages experimentation, playfulness and curiosity while teaching real design principles used in animation, games, films and illustration.
By the end of the course, each student will develop a collection of original creatures and complete a final polished creature concept artwork from their own imagination.
Because in this lab, there are no limits - only discoveries.
