What Kids Will Learn
Drawing Fun-damentals introduces children to the core building blocks of drawing through playful, creative and engaging exercises.
Students will develop skills in:
Understanding basic shapes and forms
Observation and visual interpretation
Line confidence and sketching techniques
Composition and storytelling through images
Hand-eye coordination
Shape simplification and construction
Confidence in drawing from imagination
Focus, patience and creative exploration
Most importantly, kids will learn that drawing is not about being “perfect” - it’s about learning to observe, experiment and express ideas with confidence.

Kids are also welcome to draw in their own sketchbooks.
All materials are provided in class and included in the course fee.
About the Course
Drawing Fun-damentals is a playful introduction to the world of drawing, creativity and visual storytelling. Through games, guided exercises, imaginative prompts and hands-on projects, students learn the essential foundations of drawing in a way that feels exciting and approachable.
Each class combines technical foundations with imagination and experimentation, helping students build real artistic skills while having fun creating. Rather than focusing only on copying images, the course encourages children to think creatively, explore different solutions and develop their own artistic voice.
By the end of the course, students will feel more confident drawing from observation and imagination while building a strong creative foundation they can continue developing in any artistic direction they choose.
Your Instructor
Josh Tuil
Josh is a multidisciplinary artist and passionate educator with a background in animation, filmmaking, graphic design and illustration. He has worked on a wide range of creative projects including music videos, storyboards, character design, caricatures, and large-scale murals. Known for his warm and inspiring teaching approach, Josh naturally sparks children’s curiosity, creativity and love for learning. His classes go far beyond drawing, helping students build confidence, self-expression, problem-solving skills and a strong creative mindset that supports them throughout life.
