What Kids Will Learn

Students will discover that there is no single “right way” to create art, every artist sees the world differently.

Kids are also welcome to draw in their own sketchbooks.
All materials are provided in class and included in the course fee.
About the Course
In Draw Like the Masters, students will explore the fascinating styles and creative approaches of legendary artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet and more. Each class introduces a different artist and explores: Their unique artistic style, The emotions and ideas behind their work, Their use of colors, shapes, lines, and textures, How they viewed and interpreted the world.
Students will then create their own original artworks inspired by these styles while adding their own imagination, ideas and personality.
Rather than simply copying masterpieces, the course encourages students to understand the creative thinking behind the art and transform it into something uniquely their own. By the end of the course, students will build a collection of artworks inspired by great artists throughout history while discovering their own creative voice and artistic confidence.
Your Instructor
Josh Tuil

Josh is a multidisciplinary artist and passionate educator with a background in animation, filmmaking, graphic design and illustration. He has worked on a wide range of creative projects including music videos, storyboards, character design, caricatures, and large-scale murals. Known for his warm and inspiring teaching approach, Josh naturally sparks children’s curiosity, creativity and love for learning. His classes go far beyond drawing, helping students build confidence, self-expression, problem-solving skills and a strong creative mindset that supports them throughout life.
