What Kids Will Learn
In this exciting creative course, kids will learn how to bring an original superhero to life from imagination to final artwork.
They will develop skills in:
Character design
Creative storytelling
Visual communication
Logo and symbol design
Worldbuilding and environment design
Dynamic action posing
Composition and scene creation
Confidence in expressing original ideas

Mixed Media Paper
Pencils
Fine Liners & Markers
Colored Pencils & Pastels
Kids are also welcome to draw in their own sketchbooks.
*All materials are provided in class and included in the course fee.
About The Course:
Every superhero has a story - and in this course, kids become the creators behind it.
Students will invent their own original superhero by exploring who the character is, where they come from, what powers they have, and what makes them unique. They’ll write the hero’s backstory, personality traits, strengths, fears, and mission.
From there, they’ll design:
The superhero’s costume and appearance
A personal logo or symbol
Their world, city, or environment
Villains, gadgets, or side characters
An action scene showing the hero “in action”
By the end of the course, each student will create a final cinematic illustration that tells a story and showcases their superhero in a powerful moment.
This course encourages imagination, storytelling, confidence, and creative thinking while teaching real artistic design skills in a fun and inspiring way.
Your Instructor
Josh Tuil
Josh is a multidisciplinary artist and passionate educator with a background in animation, filmmaking, graphic design and illustration. He has worked on a wide range of creative projects including music videos, storyboards, character design, caricatures, and large-scale murals. Known for his warm and inspiring teaching approach, Josh naturally sparks children’s curiosity, creativity and love for learning. His classes go far beyond drawing, helping students build confidence, self-expression, problem-solving skills and a strong creative mindset that supports them throughout life.
