What are "Life Techniques"?
Life Techniques are skill-based modules we created to help children develop essential life skills through drawing. Each module focuses on one specific skill and includes carefully designed exercises that activate, encourage and strengthen that ability.
Within each module, children practice, explore and play with the same skill from different angles, allowing them to truly meet it, experience it and grow through it.
Beyond drawing itself, which holds great value on its own, participants naturally develop skills such as creativity, communication, playfulness, observation, problem-solving, personal expression and more.
Throughout all our sessions, one guiding principle leads us: the result is not the goal. There is no single right way to draw. The more children play, experiment and try new approaches, the deeper, richer and more meaningful their learning becomes - both on the page and beyond it.

What Children Take With Them?
After our sessions, children don’t just leave with drawings - they leave with something that stays with them.

Confidence from Within
Children build confidence and inner motivation within a safe, encouraging space where they feel supported, accepted and free to be themselves.
A Clearer Inner Compass
Through drawing, children begin to notice what excites them, what interests them and how they like to think and create. This helps them develop a stronger sense of direction and self-awareness.
Improved Focus & Presence
The act of drawing strengthens concentration, patience and the ability to stay with a process - skills that naturally carry into everyday life.
Free Self-Expression
Children learn to express thoughts, emotions and ideas more freely - on the page and beyond it.
Creativity That Grows Everywhere
Their creativity flourishes, and with it their ability to imagine new possibilities, approach challenges from different angles and solve problems creatively in daily life.
Emotional Strength & Resilience
By experimenting, making mistakes, and trying again, children build resilience, flexibility, and a healthy relationship with uncertainty.

Once a week, we open our doors for a free trial session.
Parents are warmly invited to join together with their children, observe the session, ask questions and get to know the instructor and our approach up close.
This is a chance for you and your child to taste what SketchLab is all about — to experience the atmosphere, see how your child connects to the creative space and share anything that’s on your mind.
